STREET ART

Street art to me is, in many ways, the spirit of a neighborhood. It is the expression of oftentimes marginalized groups or simply what strikes the creator as inspiring in that moment. When I am able to catch them in the act, I love to talk to street artists to understand more of their perspective. Apart from these photographs, I also enjoy subversive works that play off existing structures within the environment in clever ways.
